Eye care professionals specialize in understanding how the human eye really works, eye care services, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision—many of which do not always have obvious symptoms. Eye doctors know how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and they understand the benefits and features of corrective lenses, both as eyeglass lenses and contact lenses.
Our Killeen optometrists take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing and treating potential vision problems.

When she’s not helping people see and live their best lives, Dr. Falco enjoys traveling, visiting museums, wildlife photography, and outdoor activities. She adores her husband, toddler, and coffee.
A lifelong Killeen native, Dr. Valerie Marten-Ellis graduated from Rice University in Houston before moving north to study optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston Massachusetts. While in Boston, she experienced eye care in a variety of settings, including retail, Veterans’ Affairs hospitals, and community clinics.
After returning to Texas, she is excited to serve her home community with quality eye exams, and providing the best contact lens fittings possible. Dr. Marten-Ellis’ top priority is communication with her patients and helping them achieve their best and most comfortable vision.
In her spare time, she loves to draw, sew and care for her animals at home.
